The UNIVERSITY RESEARCH ETHICS REVIEW BOARD (URERB) was recently organized. The URERB was constituted to review all research proposals that require human participation, particularly relevant ethical issues that may be triggered. An “ethical clearance†is now a requirement for all researches that involves human subjects.
There are rules and procedures to be observed and minimal fees will be collected which were duly approved by the Board of Regents during their meeting last December 10, 2015 (BOR Resolution No. 1426 s. 2015).
